TEKNOFEST Mediterranean Technology Competitions opened its doors in Antalya!
In the competitions organized in Antalya, the heart of tourism, young people who want to turn their dreams into reality and be the best in various fields from artificial intelligence to communication, from biotechnology to agricultural technologies compete fiercely with their projects. With trainings, stage shows, panels and presentations given by Türkiye's biggest technology companies, TEKNOFEST offers a full TEKNOFEST experience to both participants and visitors.
The final excitement of the technology competitions organized within the scope of the world's largest Aerospace and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST started at Antalya Anfaş International Expo and Convention Center.
The final process, which will take place at Antalya Anfaş International Expo and Convention Center on September 5-8, brings together technology enthusiasts and hosts an exciting journey. While a total of 1 million 650 thousand competitor applications were received for the competitions organized in 49 main categories and 127 sub-categories within the scope of TEKNOFEST Mediterranean, more than 1 million 500 thousand competitors applied to 25 technology competitions whose finals were held in Antalya.
On the first day of the festival, Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TEKNOFEST, also visited the event. Bayraktar emphasized that Türkiye is leading the way in technology and stated that the interest shown by young people in this field is promising for the future.
In addition, Türkiye's first astronaut Alper Gezeravcı met with young people at the event and shared his experiences in space travel. Gezeravcı inspired the participants by giving important information about space, astronomy and future technologies. Gezeravcı, who shared his space travel experience in his speech on the main stage, took photos with children and young people after his speech and answered questions.
Rafadan Tayfa, the popular characters of TRT Çocuk channel, also took the stage at the festival. Rafadan Tayfa who explained science and technology to children in a fun way with their show, inspired the technology stars of the future.
Visitors had the opportunity not only to watch technology competitions, but also to participate in panels and training programs on a wide range of topics from artificial intelligence to nuclear energy, from patents and design to UAV/UAV piloting. Innovative solutions to critical issues such as artificial intelligence literacy, prompt writing and climate change were discussed at the event.
TEKNOFEST Mediterrenaen will continue until September 8 at Anfaş International Expo and Convention Center in Antalya and will continue to be the center of attention for everyone who loves technology.
